East London to Glasgow. Strange.

Why Glasgow? Why Scotland?

Only advice is avoid cunts wearing green and white hoops.

We've been offered the opportunity to move to the Shetlands...

One look on Google maps and it was a swift 'Fuck off'

Place looks like Dartmoor...Beautiful but you wouldnt want to live there

West Coast - North of the clyde has some nice towns - helensburgh being the best but it is relatively quiet.

South of the river - avoid Port Glasgow and Greenock, very poor areas, but easy to get into Glashow. Largs is really nice. Kilmacolm is nice as well.

Why not live in the city - its a fun place. Good bars and restaurants.

I've been working up in Edinburgh for the last six months and have been pleasantly surprised, people are friendly and down to earth, crime is low and if you like the outdoor life, golf, fishing and sailing then it's for you. The summer this year has been unusually good so any where is nice when the sun is shining. St Andrews and the Fife coastline is superb.
I watched the England v Italy game in a crowded pub in Glasgow city centre, the roof lifted when Italy scored, my missus was the only one that cheered when Sturridge scored, 300 pairs of eyes on us followed by ' remember, you're behind enemy lines' from a local. To be fair it was all banter, we had a good time.
Surprisingly there are a lot of English living up there, but they all say how they miss that extra 5 degrees of warmth in the south.

Start drinking whiskey with your pint.
Talk to the people and you will have a good time and enjoy yourself.
